Location

Quickenberry Lodge and Guesthouse is located right on Terrace Downs Golf Course. The nearest holes are number 3 and 5. The lodge itself is situated on a large life style block overlooking lovely New Zealand country side.

Directions
The lodge is less than 60 minutes from Christchurch (90km) and about 20 minutes from Methven (28km).

From Christchurch:

Option 1: Take Highway 73 towards Arthur’s Pass and turn off at Aylesbury Corner to get to Horarata. Then follow the signs for Terrace Downs.

Option 2: Alternativeley travel on Highway 73 a bit further to Darfield and then turn into Highway 73, called the Scenic Highway and turn off at Windwhistle towards Terrace Downs. Once inside the gate you turn right at the first lane.

From the South:

Travel towards the Rakaia Gorge. After you have crossed the two bridges you have two choices.

Option 1: One road leads straight on up the zig-zag road which is not tarsealed and can be a bit rough.

Option 2: Continue on the main highway out of the gorge and then turn off at Lake Coleridge Road.
